A recent customer called on a busy Friday afternoon with problems with his Sony Laptop, we arranged for him to drop it off at the shop and soon diagnosed the problem – a faulty hard drive which required a Windows reinstall. We were quickly able to price up parts and labour and called the customer back with a quote that he was more than happy with. Our customer was able to collect his repaired Laptop the following day…

One niggle, the phone took two attempts to get through (Busy?) Arranged to drop my very poorly Sony Vio down, had a quote within three hours and Job done next day, Brilliant!! Price was fair for the work done Would recommend highly‎.

At Lichfield Computer Centre we pride ourselves in our customer service. We appreciate that not everyone is comfortable with technical jargon, but understand the need for our customers to know exactly what the problem is and how we are to resolve it. A gentleman recently brought his Dell laptop in to the shop after having problems ‘switching it on’.

Our technician soon diagnosed that this was a software and not hardware issue an was able to explain to the gentleman exactly what was wrong and how we would be able to help. After backing up all the data stored on the laptop, we were able to format the hard drive and re-install the operating system, drivers and other software. We were then able to restore all the backed up data. We also added some more memory (RAM).

We are an elderly couple, and as such computers don’t come naturally to us! We recently took our troublesome Dell laptop down to the Lichfield Computer Centre after one day driving past. When we walked in we were treated with respect and felt immediately very welcome. After taking our details down we left, not expecting contact for a couple of days. Within two hours we were called to explain the problem in detail (possibly more detail than we really understood!) – and how much it would be to fix. They are not only very friendly and understanding, but their prices are affordable for the work they do. We collected our laptop the very next day and immediately noticed a new lease on life for our poor old little Dell! Many thanks to Nick and the team, we will recommend you to everyone!‎
